BHR Group’s Water and Wastewater Pumping Conference will address challenges facing the water industry in response to OfWat’s objectives for PR19 and AMP7.
Keynote Speakers
Our fantastic line-up of keynote speakers features:
Industry-leading, peer-reviewed papers
From “A new approach to twin shaft grinders” to “Sewage sludge for the long haul” our draft programme features some compelling abstracts from organisations such as Transco, Mott MacDonald, Suez, SEEPEX and Sultzer.
Exclusive site visit
As part of the conference experience, we’re offering a unique opportunity to visit two pumping stations on Thames Water’s Beckton Sewage Treatment Works site in East London. The recently completed Tideway Pumping Station has 6 pumps (4 duty, 2 standby) each delivering 3.05 m3/s at 80 m head. Abbey Mills Pumping Station (Station A) - also known as ‘the cathedral of sewage’ - delivers up to 36 m3/s, was designed by Joseph Bazalgette, completed in 1868 and is a Grade II* listed building.
Networking and Exhibition
There’s ample opportunity to network throughout the programme, as well as engaging with conference exhibitors including: Vogelsang, Hidrostal, Bedford Pumps, Verger, Seepex, and BHR Group. The conference dinner will take place at the Tamburlaine Hotel in Cambridge, the ideal place to catch-up with colleagues and carry on the debate from the days programme.
