Global Water Research Coalition board meeting

Between 24th and 27th April, UKWIR welcomed colleagues from international partner organisations as we hosted the annual board meeting of the Global Water Research Coalition.

It was an important meeting where the future research focus for the organisation was agreed. Board members heard from UKWIR Programme Lead Dan Green (shown in the photo) about the UK water sector’s Net Zero commitment and our supporting research. Carly Perry, Managing Director of Spring, joined the meeting to explore about the potential for global collaborations.

UKWIR CEO Steve Kaye said “It was fantastic to meet colleagues in person after working virtually with them since joining UKWIR. It really highlighted the value of global perspectives on shared challenges and the cruciality of global collaboration to solving them”.
