Richard Amos

Programme Lead, BQ 1: Halve our freshwater abstractions

After gaining an MSc, Richard worked as a hydrologist with the Environment Agency in Thames Region before joining Welsh Water’s Water Resources Team as a Planner, supporting the delivery of the WRMP.

He became the Water Resource Area Manager working across south Wales, responsible for the operation and management of raw water sources. Currently he is the Water Resources Regulation Manager taking responsibility for the production of the WRMP and Drought Plan and supporting the Business Plan submission.
